Mastering the lotus posture allows us to move onto more postures, and isn't an easy posture to modify. The key to lotus is opening of the hips, which we can often find tight, due to long days behind the desk or the wheel. This 1.5 hour workshop will flow through a series of hip-opening postures, to warm up our joints and feel stronger and more flexible in the hips, giving tips and tricks to working towards lotus posture.
Ideal for regular class-goers who want to learn more, and build a home practice to work towards lotus. Also suitable for complete beginners, who have tight hips and want to feel more open and relaxed.
Limited spaces available at The Glynne Arms, in Hawarden, North Wales, so book early to avoid disappointment. The class starts at 9.30am and finishes at 11am, so just in time to enjoy a well deserved brunch, which will be provided after the session.
