Opening the Heart Workshop and Brunch

This 1.5 hour workshop will focus on flowing through a series of front-lengthening postures, to open the chest and heart, to allow us to walk taller, stand stronger and feel more open across the chest. We’ll also look at lengthening the front of the body like the core and the thighs to to prepare for postures such as back bends.

This 2 hour workshop will focus more on the closing sequence of the Ashtanga Primary series, where we'll take our first hour to flow through a series of front-lengthening postures, to strengthen our core and flex our muscles in preparation for some back-bending postures. We'll spend the remaining hour breaking down some of the inversions, like the shoulder stand sequence and head stand.
