Oat, Date & Raisin Energy Bites

A perfect pick-me-up snack for the afternoon or post exercise. Gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free and nut-free. 

Oat, Date and Raisin Energy Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 & 1/2 cups of Oats (Gluten-free)
  • 1 cup of raisins or currants
  • 1 cup of dates
  • 1 cup of pumpkin & sunflower seeds 
  • 1/2 cup of honey 
  • 1 tbsp flax seed
  • 1 tbsp of Chia seeds 
  • pinch of salt 

Method

Whizz all the ingredients in a food processor until blitzed. You may have to do this in a couple of batches, depending on the size of your food processor. Either push spoonfuls of the mixture into a round or square biscuit cutter to about 1/2 cm thick, or roll into small balls. Place onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 180c.
